Our customer’s family come to stay with her from time to time, so she wanted a little extra space to allow for this. The conservatory was planned for the back of the house, allowing the space to be used seamlessly with the kitchen.
Our happy customer felt that our fitting teams were neat and tidy, and construction was carried out quickly, keeping disruption to a minimum. The conservatory was built using our Pilkington blue activ glass roof, which is not only self-cleaning, but also reflects the sun allowing the inside to stay cooler in the summer.
As the thermal glass also has a low-e value, it also stays warm in the winter allowing you to use your room all year round. Our customer has now installed TV in the room, with a sofa bed and blinds, and now when they have a large family get–together, it turns from an extra sitting room into a temporary bedroom.
Overall, she is very happy with her new room, which has provided many uses for her and her family.
